If you "think you may have the flu," you don't. This is from a lay person's (nursing school drop out) point of view. The real flu is like being smacked with a baseball bat or, more crudely, a 2x4.
Actually, it seems with this particular flu currently going around, there is a wide range of how people feel. I personally was completely miserable, out of work for 2 weeks, took another two months to really feel better. But there are people testing positive for flu A (which is then assumed to be H1N1... it may or may not be) who only have a cough and sniffles, or a mild fever and cold-like symptoms. I've been noticing a really wide range with this.

>>> Regarding, the highlighted portion, that is what I have been following via the CDC. It's tuff all the way around. Scary too. Had a couple otherwise healthy toddles succumb within three days near these parts. The number of mothers to be is frightening - even more so. I haven't heard or researched for about three days. Did hear today that 172,000 doses were confiscated in Canada today. The vaccine was contaminated?
My husband and I had a full discussion. We ARE NOT taking it, but our grandsons are.
I remember the good old days when we lined up for the pink drop of juice on a sugar cube. It was for the polio vaccine and I don't recall anyone fearing the government?
